Personal Narrative A Story At The Superior Court

After checking every photo taken during the investigation, the Deputy District Attorney, Michelle Trego asked the detectives to interview the witnesses again. â€Å"We want to make certain she pays for this crime,† Michelle said riding up in the elevator with Detective Wallace. â€Å"It will be awesome when we finish with the trial,† Detective Wallace said, after all it seemed they had worked on it forever. Exiting the elevator, Michelle said, â€Å"I’m ready to start on Monday.† Michelle said, exiting the elevator and went down the hallway to her office. +++ Early Monday morning, Jerry drove downtown, relieved he had taken time off from work to be in court with Marlene. Dressed in a designer suit, with her hair and makeup perfect. Marlene sat beside†¦show more content†¦The State calls Jeffery Logan to the stand.† A well dressed man went forward after swearing him in, he sat in the witness chair. â€Å"Mr. Logan, where are you employed.† Michelle said. Turning on an overhead projector, displaying pictures of Katherine Lincoln’s bloody head and face. A loud gasp from the jury, and the courtroom. â€Å"Oh my God!† Marlened screamed. â€Å"Order in the court,† Judge Hunter ordered. â€Å"I’m employed at the county morgue,† Mr. Logan said. Tell the court and the jury what you did on â€Å"On April 14, 2004.† â€Å"We received a call to go to 3465 E 37 Street and pick up a body.† â€Å"Did you perform the autopsy? â€Å"Yes, I did.† â€Å"Could you determine the time and the cause of death?† â€Å"Yes.† ‘Would you tell the jury the time and the cause of death?† â€Å"We picked up a sixty-seven year old female with multiple head injuries. During the autopsy we determined death occurred between 6:15 and 6:45 AM.
